When we set out to develop our range of Direct Drive Wheelbases, we wanted to create the best sim racing Wheelbases on the market, measured by every parameter, but without breaking the budget. Our ambitions were higher than just reselling a standard industrial servo motor and then trying to adapt everything else around it. It was a tough challenge, but like with our award-winning pedals and steering wheels, we started with a blank sheet of paper.

We purchased and implemented IP from market-leading suppliers, teamed up with Mige, a well-known motor supplier in sim racing, and after years of developing brand-new electronics, software, firmware, mechanics, collaboration, design, testing, and validation, we are now ready! Please welcome the Invicta™ 27Nm, the 18Nm Forte®, and the 12Nm upgradeable La Prima™ Wheelbase.

True to the spirit of our other products, at Asetek SimSports® you get the same quality, durability, technical excellence – and above all – the same user experience, whether you buy our entry-level La Prima™ or our top-tier Invicta™ series. Every Wheelbase from 12-27 Nm features a high-end 22-bit encoder, slip ring, and electronics that deliver an unparalleled driving experience, banishing cogging and lagging to the past. All key parts are, of course, made from aluminum and steel.

All Asetek SimSports® Wheelbases provide smooth, super-responsive, and precise feedback to the driver, letting you feel even the smallest bumps and curbs on the road. For example: each of our Wheelbases has a resolution of 0.000085 degrees or about 4,000,000 steps in just one wheel rotation! In other words, with an Asetek SimSports® Wheelbase, you don’t have to choose between a true high-fidelity driving experience and a low price. You can have it all!

Highlight: Be Yourself – High Flexibility in Mounting

Since all Wheelbases were developed from scratch, we were able to create an extremely compact and flexible form factor that fits any Cockpit and any need. The Wheelbase serves as the central hub in your simulator, where you can connect your Asetek SimSports® pedals, steering wheels, and future peripherals with up to 5 USB-S ports on the back.

In its simplest mounting form (standard from the factory), the bases come with pre-installed T-nuts in the lower slots, allowing you to slide the motor forward and backward in your Cockpit. For all Wheelbases, we developed mounting options for every Cockpit, ranging from a desk clamp to floor mounting, side mounting, and our integrated front mounts.

Many sim racers love to tinker with their awesome Cockpit and show it off, which is why we implemented four fully customizable aRGB LED strips – so you can match your Wheelbase to the rest of your Asetek SimSports® gear, team colors, or even the color of your fireproof racing underwear! Everything is managed by our central software RaceHub™, which is also the home of your Wheelbase, where you can fine-tune the base and driving experience exactly to your liking alongside all your other Asetek SimSports® devices!

Highlight: Speed is Everything – Meet the Quick Release

All Asetek SimSports® Wheelbases feature our own Quick Release, which is as easy to use as shifting gears – literally, because to detach the steering wheel from the base, you just press a paddle, and the wheel is in your hands! Of course, we don’t rely on wireless signals, batteries that need charging, or cables that can break or fall off. Everything is included in our easy-to-use, play-free Quick Release.
